Welcome to the UMBC Department of History's new Internship Blog.
The purpose of an internship is to explore ideas, acquire experiences, and engage in practices that can help you prepare for professional work.
Beginning January 1, each student who registers for an internship in the Department of History will be required to prepare three posts for this public forum --roughly one post for every 40 hours of work. These blog posts will include thoughtful reflections about the internship experience, advice for future interns, and descriptions of internship projects.
